This is a blog about the journey of the Hadley family from the west cost to a new lifestyle on the east coast. After a 20 year engineering career Judy exited corporate life as a result of a company split. While it was not her choice at the time, it opened up the possibility to pursue a new lifestyle that our family had been thinking about for a long time. We promptly sold our hobby urban farm in beautiful Santa Rosa California and said a tearful goodbye to a huge community of wonderful supportive friends and family. We traded our urban lifestyle for a more simple rural lifestyle in an intentional community in western Massachusetts.

The doelings and bucklings are all in their new homes and thriving. The masonry stove and bake oven will be installed next week, just in time for the cold weather. I’ll post pics when it is installed.
